Pods4jobs offers a different kind of Careers Advice, it allows you to explore many different types of jobs from the luxury of your home. It tells you the good and bad parts of a job and what it is really like to work in that job. It is safe to use as each podcast has to be accepted before it can be uploaded. Example Class Instructions

Session Example 1:

1) Talk about jobs and careers
2) Have class discuss jobs that they are interested in or that their parents do
3) Ask the class to write down 5 jobs they are interested in
4) Then in groups or individually have them look up the jobs and watch the videos (Or do for Homework)
5) After watching video each student talks about one job they found interesting

Session Example 2:

1) Talk about jobs and careers
2) Have class disuss which jobs they would not do
3) Have them discuss jobs they would like to do
4) Go to 3 most popular
5) Play pod on projector to class
6) Pick 2 alternative job areas and play pods (Homework option)
7) Talk about differences in jobs with class
