Making the Interview interesting is key to the success of the Podcast.

Before any interview we suggest that the presenter introduces him/herself and the Interviewee. The audience needs to know what job you are talking about, the location and the date. E.g. " Hi I'm Jimmy Bloggs and this is Jack Jones, a graphics designer based in Dartford, Kent it's the 5th August 2009."

Have a stopwatch or timer with you to keep the time. Keep the pod short and to the point. (All Podcasts must be under 10 minutes long - we cannot accept any videos which are 10 minutes or longer but you can edit them down after shooting).

If the interviewer doesn't want to be filmed in the podcast there are many examples on the site where the interviewer is neither seen or heard, such as Pod No.10957.

At the end of your interview please make sure you thank the interviewer. "Thank you for allowing me to interview you it has been extremely interesting."
