How To Use This Site.

Pods4jobs tries to make learning about different careers more interesting by making the resources more interactive, and by asking real day-to-day people, hopefully more honest about the pros and cons of their work.

The best way to use this site is to either search for jobs through the search engine and press go or click on the Home tab and the Featured Careers will keep changing each time you press the Home tab. There are over 1,600 podcasts now uploaded with more coming in each week.

ADVICE FOR UPLOADING PODS:

1.) Go to Google search bar and download a free converter that will change your file to a wmv (this is one of the best for uploading onto the site). There's a converter called 'prism' that works pretty well, although the trial period only lasts around ten days.

2.) Convert your file, choosing a medium resolution or lower (it doesn't have to be brilliant quality because it will only be playing in a smallish window).

3.) Make sure the finished file is under 50MB. Anything bigger than this will take ages to load up and will probably crash the site.

Although wmv are preferred, any internet file should be fine. If you're rendering a project straight from a project on your computer and wmv isn't an option pick anything that supports broadband streaming and this will generally work.
