Managing The Artist (CW1) Video Component
A band usually starts by finding the right members (musicians with similar music taste) and this can be done by networking. At the beginning the musicians have to keep their day job and practise after work until late hours. For unsigned artists to succeed and to become recognised there are many challenges to overcome. To launch a career a band should start to perform in small and private venues like weddings or local clubs. To maximise the band exposure they can perform in tours alongside more famous bands. The 21st century is a high competitive market and musicians have to choose the right ways to promote their music and image. Social networks open new roads for music marketing, particularly for unsigned musicians. Social media is a great opportunity to bring awareness to new audience. Generally all social media websites offer lots of tools that musicians can use to market their bands and music. View More Pods
